1. General Policy Overview
At Matairi Tyres, we take great pride in providing our customers with high-quality tyres and products. However, we understand that sometimes returns may be necessary. This returns policy outlines the procedures and responsibilities of the customer regarding product returns, delivery, and associated costs. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Returns and Exchanges

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases where the product is deemed defective, provided it is in the original, unused condition and packaging.

If you believe you have received a defective product, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving the item by sending an email to admin@matairityres.co.za. Please include photographs of the defective product in your email to facilitate the assessment process.

Returns of defective products will be considered only upon written confirmation from Matairi Tyres that the product is eligible for return.

If your return is approved, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, including any delivery or shipping charges. We are not liable for any delivery fees associated with returning the item.
3. Return Process for Defective Items

Once you contact us about a defective item, we will conduct an evaluation based on the information and photographs provided. If the item qualifies for a return, we will provide you with instructions on how to proceed.

You are solely responsible for the return shipping costs, and it is your responsibility to ensure the item is packaged securely to prevent damage during the return process. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

In the event that we find the item is not defective or does not meet the criteria for return, the item will be returned to you at your own cost.
4. Refunds and Replacements

Refunds will only be issued for defective items that are returned and evaluated to be defective, in which case the refund will be processed in the same manner as the original payment.

No refunds will be issued for products that are not defective, used, or installed, and are not eligible for return or exchange.

In the case of a replacement item, the customer will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with receiving the replacement.
5. Delivery Charges

All delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the weight and destination of your order. These charges are non-refundable under any circumstances, including returns.

Matairi Tyres will not be responsible for any additional charges, such as import duties, taxes, or delivery surcharges applied by third parties, whether domestic or international. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6. Liability and Responsibility

Matairi Tyres is not liable for any fees or costs associated with the return of items, including but not limited to shipping, packaging, or customs duties.

The customer assumes full responsibility for the return shipping costs and any associated fees. Should the customer fail to return the product as outlined in this policy, Matairi Tyres will not be obligated to refund or replace the item.

Matairi Tyres is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during the return shipment. Customers should ensure they use a secure, trackable method for all returns.

If you fail to return the product in its original, unused condition, Matairi Tyres reserves the right to reject the return request and send the item back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
7. Non-Returnable Products

Products that have been used, installed, altered, or assembled are non-returnable.

Tyres that have been fitted to a vehicle or show signs of wear and tear are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
8. International Orders

For international orders, customers are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties, and shipping costs. These charges are not covered by Matairi Tyres and must be settled with the relevant authorities before delivery.

If a customer refuses to accept the delivery or fails to pay any customs or import charges, the customer will be responsible for all costs related to the return of the package to Matairi Tyres, as well as any administrative or customs fees.
9. Order Tracking and Delivery Delays

Upon dispatch of your order, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the courier and delivery option chosen at checkout.

Matairi Tyres is not responsible for any delays caused by third-party delivery services or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, customs, etc.).
